Last Chance to Find Eclectic Design Choices' Creations in Person in 2018

Brick and mortar appearances are rare for my creations, so please take the opportunity to check them out in person at the Happy Holidays Pop-Up Market that begins this Saturday, December 8. Joining me will be 14 additional artisans with a wide variety of goodies for the people on your gift giving list or a treat for yourself. Happy Holidays Pop-Up Market is an ephemeral boutique shop stocked with unique products produced locally. Don't delay your visit to the Urban Union area of Downtown Arlington. EclecticDesignChoices at East Main Street Arts Festival May 5

Saturday, May 5 from noon until 8 pm you will find me and some of my creations at the East Main Street Arts Festival in Downtown Arlington.

My 817ArtsAlliance self has partnered with CenterSpace to bring a make and take craft opportunity to the festival. CenterSpace is a cool co-working space next to Maverick's Bar and Grill towards the east end of East Main Street. Pop in and try your hand at some paper tulips or yarn flowers. While you are inside, browse the creations by the artists whose work resides at CenterSpace on a regular basis.

Eclectic Design Choices to be at Event Dec. 9-23, 2017

Hand crafted creations representative of both my EDCCollective and EclecticSkeptic Etsy shops are included in the Happy Holidays Pop-Up Market being held at The Sleepy Cottage in Downtown Arlington. I am one of thirteen artisans whose handmade wares are on display and waiting to brighten someone's day on your holiday gift list. The pop-up market opened last Saturday and many items of mine and the other artisans have found new homes already. Quite a few of the items on display are one of a kind, so come out and shop before that fabulous find is gone or before the market closes on December. 23.

I took the images in this post as the market was beginning to be stocked. My flying pig note cards share a display with note cards from the artist Kristy Jarvis. While my photographic art print is of a wine bottle, I love the juxtaposition with the sleep mask that reads, "Wake me for Champagne".

Ready to Hang EDC Photographic Art at CenterSpace in Downtown Arlington

While the art has been in place for a few months at Downtown Arlington's newest co-working space, I finally got all of the pieces together to make purchasing it easier. If you see a piece of art you want to take home with you when you browse the art on the walls of the relaxed new co-working space, CenterSpace, you will be able to use an internet connected device to buy it. If you are looking for a special piece of ready to hang art for your home or office check out my photographic art, photographs by Amy J Schultz and a limited edition DREAM poster commissioned by Downtown Arlington Management Corporation.

The owners of CenterSpace have graciously offered to let people view some local artists' work in person and hand the work over to customers after receiving notification of payment in exchange for having some awesome art on their walls. When CenterSpace's members need to take a break from looking at their computer screens or other task they might be engaged in they can contemplate the artwork on the walls.

Payment for a piece of art can be made online through 817ArtsAlliance. Pick the title of the artwork (shown on the art card by each piece of art on the wall) from the drop down menu below an artist's listings on the Art for Sale - CenterSpace 817ArtsAlliance page. Then click the Buy Now button and follow the rest of the instructions from PayPal. You will be able to pay using your PayPal account or credit card.

Happy Holidays Gift Market 2013

The weekend of Dec. 7-8 at the Mitch Wilson Memorial Festival of Trees Exhibit at the Arlington Museum of Art will be a very special and fun weekend. In addition to the beautifully decorated trees and the Happy Holidays Gift Store (that my items are part of), Tom Newsom (the artist whose Santa Art is on display) will be there to sign autographs, live holiday entertainment will be going on part of the day and almost 30 additional artisans will be there with their creations as part of the Happy Holidays Gift Market. As a gift to the community, the Arlington Museum of Art will have free admission to the Festival of Trees for this weekend. (The first photo shows a decorated tree and a piece of Tom Newsom's Santa art. The second photo shows a portion of my favorite tree in the exhibit.)


The Gift Market’s artisans will be set up on three floors of the museum. They will have an exciting array of items from handmade dolls to creations made from wine corks to fairy house nightlights and much, much more. Some participating artisans are listed on the Happy Holidays Happenings event page in the Happy Holidays Gift Market section. Click their button to be taken to their online presence to get a preview of some of the items you can expect at the market. Additional fun can be found in Downtown Arlington on Saturday, Dec. 7. Check out information for the Holiday Lights Parade festivities which include the Elf show at the Levitt Pavilion.
